Bill Giles thinks Matt Holliday won the NLCS MVP

Bill Giles, the man who gave out the NLCS trophy and NLCS MVP trophy Sunday night to the St. Louis Cardinals, and third baseman David Freese, thinks Matt Holliday won the MVP. As he began to congratulate Freese, Giles mistakingly said, “Matt, congratulations.”

However, Giles got his  stats on point. So apparently Giles thinks it was Holliday who batted .545 with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs against the Milwaukee Brewers. While Holliday had an excellent series, Freese deservedly won the MVP. Go get em in the World Series.

David, congratulations.
