You all know by now that star Indiana quarterback prospect Gunner Kiel has changed his mind a billion times and finally blacked out and ended up on Notre Dame’s campus today when classes began.
What you may not know is the reaction from other Notre Dame commits, who talked Tuesday about Kiel’s ultimate decision.
Deontay Greenberry, a Notre Dame commit as a wide receiver, said Kiel picking Notre Dame was “the best decision (Kiel) ever made.” That is, at least better than the previous two decisions he’s made about committing to Indiana and then committing to LSU.
In the end, Kiel said he boiled it down to wanting to be close to home, playing with a bunch of players and coaches he gets along with, and getting a good education.
Man, what the heck was he considering LSU for then?
